I've been in Cape Town for 20 years now and am still overwhelmed daily by the natural beauty of this place. I love spending time in nature, and walk in the mountains around our home almost daily. I am the daughter of Dutch immigrants, and my husband, the son of German immigrants, which is why I speak Dutch and (passable) German as well as Afrikaans and English. I used to work as a dietitian, now I am a full time mother of four. Once my youngest goes to school I may go back to work. In the meantime, I do my best to enjoy every day with my three girls and one boy.
