The Shug Shack is a Illinois Central Railroad section house built in 1905. Loving restored to capture the feel of an old railroad depot it is on an ACTIVE P&L railroad route, very close to house PLEASE BE AWARE! Many of the original features and materials have been reused while being updated with modern upscale amenities. Well-stocked kitchen & gas fireplace. Has one master bedroom & one bath with two oversize leather chairs that make twin beds. Cozy with lots of charm, it feels like home!

Unique features include: a fire-pit, a barn that can house horses, and a front porch that provides a perfect view of the sunset daily!

Remodeled home in the city of Caneyville. The property is approx. 3 miles from the western Kentucky parkway, approximately 15 miles to rough river and Nolan lake, 55 miles to mammoth cave. Great location for any one wanting to enjoy the lakes, or down this way for the hunting season. There is a small lake, horses and half court basket ball court and playhouse on property adjacent to the house. The property has a outside gas grill and covered outside seating area.
