Unwind in a one-of-a-kind, tranquil retreat. This beautifully renovated 100-year-old Dog Trot sits on the north side of our property offering a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Relax on the front porch with serene views of pastures, wooded landscapes, and frequent deer sightings. Enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside while staying just moments away from Ruston's attractions. When you arrive you will find a 1938 brick home set on a shady hill, a dedicated parking space and private entrance off of the screened in porch. We are the second driveway on the right. The property is surrounded by nature which gives the impression of being out in the country, when in fact, "civilization" is a mere 2 minutes away. Interstate I-20 is also just minutes away. The private bedroom's amenities include modern appliances and antiques that complement the look of the home.

Rooster Ridge (owned and operated by Laughing Rooster, LLC) is a rustic cabin with many of the comforts and amenities of home. The cabin was built for guests and sits securely behind our family home overlooking the beautiful Ouachita River. You'll be less than six (6) miles from restaurants and the Sterlington Sports Complex. *Pets are limited to one small dog.
