Carno has a Spar shop open 8 - 8 every single day, including a post office, and a pub, The Aleppo, offering better than average pub food: we eat there often ourselves.
Carno village is also famous as the home of Laura Ashley & her fashion world, Murray the Hump (Al Capone's right hand man), and Operation Julie (a 70s drug bust of the world's largest LSD factory!!). You will probably just notice calm farmland....
