Walk and picnic atop Fiesole with a local architect

- As an Architect i invite you to follow me on this walk and picnic in Fiesole that will allow you to experience the "genius loci" of the beauty of the spirit of the place. -The walk is 1.5 km (about 1 mile) uphill! average gradient is 13% and the elevation gain is 195 meters, so it is not a flat walk! - The meeting point is about 6 km from the center of Florence. I recommend taking the No. 7 bus in Piazza Libertà and getting off at the "Di San Domenico Istituto Europeo" stop. - We will meet at the San Domenico fountain in the town of Fiesole and then move on to pick up schiacciata, a traditional Tuscan flatbread, for our picnic. - We will begin the walk by following the ancient Etruscan road to Fiesole. Along the way we will encounter the evidence that places have bequeathed to us from human labor as a union of artifice and nature. - At the Convent of San Francesco, at the top of the hill, we will stop to enjoy our picnic and the panoramic view of Florence and the surrounding hills. Afterwards, we will return to Piazza Mino, where I will recommend having a well-deserved coffee or aperitif. - It will be an evocative ascent to gain a fulfilled physical and mental state through which to view Florence from a different perspective ! This experience is not an official guided tour and does not replace the services of a recognized tour guide.

Along the way, you’ll gain professional techniques—and of course, you’ll get to taste as you learn. • We’ll start with an introduction to the world of coffee, covering the plant’s journey from seed to green bean, and the differences between commercial and specialty coffee. • Next, we’ll explore the art of roasting and how it affects coffee flavor. Take a break from travel fatigue and experience a deeper connection with Italian culture by mastering the art of homemade pasta in our hands-on cooking class in Florence. Join us at our cooking school in the historic city centre, right by the Arno River, for a fun, interactive and unique experience led by professional chefs. In various shapes, you’ll learn the secrets of making traditional Italian pasta like RAVIOLI, FETTUCCINE, and TORTELLI. We provide everything you need—kitchen apron, rolling pin, pasta cutter, eggs, and flour. After crafting your pasta, we’ll cook it together and enjoy the meal family-style with the group. Tomato sauce for fettuccine is made in advance and butter&sage is made in front of you. The experience is held in English, lasts around 3 hours and includes connecting with fellow travellers while sipping organic Tuscan wine from our farm, “Dalle Nostre Mani.” At the end, enjoy some chocolate dessert with a shot of limoncello. English instructions are provided, ensuring you leave with the skills to impress friends and family back home!

MY FARM three experiences in one day

Immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside with 3 different experiences! We'll meet in Florence, where a driver will take you to our farm in just 45 minutes. What will we do? 1) Walk among country fields, ancient olive trees and vineyards, enjoy the landscape, the plants, the explanation of our history with plenty of opportunities to capture stunning photos.  You may even meet our friendly, domesticated pig! In September taste the grapes! 2) Visit the cellar and taste 5 organic Tuscan wines: white, red, aged straight from the barrel, and "Vin Santo" a classic sweet wine. You’ll also sample our premium olive oil and watch a short film about our mission. You'll have the chance to purchase wines at exclusive cellar prices or order them to ship. 3) The final part is all about making fresh pasta! Raffaella or Laura will teach you how to craft it using authentic techniques, then cook all your pasta together (it won't be possible to do individual cooking) to enjoy it as a group at a long table, just like a traditional Italian family. Our organic wine will accompany the meal. We'll be around 20 participants for an authentic Italian experience. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The round trip to Florence has a cost of 20 Euro per person to be paid directly to the driver by card before the return journey.

Horseback Riding and Wine Tasting in Tuscany

We will pick you up from Firenze city center to take you to our ranch. Upon arrival one of our experienced guide will greet you and will start giving you some tips about riding our horses. No worries if you're a total beginner, we will take a few time making sure you get the basis before you meet your horse. Our horses are very friendly and calm and you'll have a few time for practicing before you go outside. When you're all ready to go your horseback riding tour in the countryside will start. The ride outside will least for about 1 hour in which you'll be surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, tipical Tuscan country houses and colored fields. During the ride there will be 2 experienced guides ready to assist you and reply to your questions. We will finish the horse tour back to our Ranch. After taking a few pics, we will help you getting off the horse and then we will drive you to the Villa (by van - only 3 min drive) where you will continue with the second part of the experience. The Villa's staff will greet you and your tour will continue with a visit to the little museum of the villa and its wine cellars. The tour ends with a tasting of four Torre Cona wines and a plate of selected cheeses. After the wine tasting, we will drive you directly to Firenze (same place of the meeting point).

My little organic Farm

You will immerse yourself in our little world not only made up of work but of history, nature, passion and many beautiful farm animals. We will walk through the fields in the company of our dogs and we will explain how we were born and how we got to this day, our philosophy and the reasons for our choices. We will observe the vineyard and its phases, the olive grove where the sheep graze in the beautiful meadow below and we will personally go to get to know them one by one. We will show you our cow Vilma running freely in the fields and the happy hens producing red yolk eggs. We will show you the cellar where we produce the wine and where we store the exquisite extra virgin olive oil. Then we will all sit together to taste the wines, oil and cheeses that we produce naturally with so much passion.
