Wonderful ruins of a remarkable castle. It is a true open air museum and you can enjoy climbing over walls and walk in its gardens.

Just at the edge of the Cairngorms National Park this magic location gives you access to the majestic Glen Tanar Ballroom and Estate, a lovely walk along the river Dee and if you are feeling more adventurous you can always proceed towards Mount Keen on top of which you will be able to see all of the Cairngorms.
