If it's your first time in Cape Town I would definitely recommend going up Table Mountain for some really spectacular views of the city. You can take the Cable Way up, or if you have lots of energy there are various walking routes up the mountain (sunscreen and 2l of drinking water recommended)

The Sea Point Promenade is great for going for a casual walk or run next to the ocean. You can also hire a bicycle if it is your preferred mode of transport.
