Sunday afternoons at this park are always entertaining. Typically there's hippies doing yoga, musicians in drum circles, Frisbee, kite flying, bocce ball, etc. It's great people watching.

Surprisingly the most inspiring memorial I've seen in DC next to the Lincoln Memorial. Also just beautiful scenery right next to the Tidal Basin.

Go visit Lincoln on his throne. It's a beautiful view of the reflecting pool and a lovely walk from the National Mall.

Easily my favorite museum in the city. So much to see. Give yourself plenty of time (at least several hours) to fully explore this place. Also, check online for deals. It's about $30 to get in.

The Hirshhorn is a modern art museum. Check out the Sculpture Garden. In the summer they have Jazz in the sculpture garden. Bring a blanket and snacks. Come early. It fills up quick.
