Just 15 minutes for Hagerstown Haven along 40E you come to the Appalachian Trail. You park and head off in eiher direction for a safe a nd delightful journey through nature I have done this trail in summer, fall and winter and enjoyed each seson fully.

Yes, Highly reommended. This jewel of City Park sits in a lovely green space at the centr of Hagerstown. A rich collection of historic and contemporary art from various periods--USA, Europe and global. Current exhibitions: "The Blues and the Abstract Truth/Voices of African American Art"--Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, Elizabeth Catlett, Sam Gilliam etc. I took a visitor to this exhibition on July 16 and throoughly enjoyed it. Architecturally, the MFA building is sumptuous with a domed entrance and a pavillion that houses "Diana the hunter," and overlooks the lake that partially surrounds the museum. Admission is FREE. Closed on Mondays. Open Tu-Fri, 10-5; Sat,10-4; Sun, 1-5 PM
