Great local coffee. This brewery just recommended with sweet bloom roasters, so their coffee tends to be very fresh and naturally sweeter than normal. Venue has a nice sit down area.

This is a 14,000 foot mountain (aka: 14er) that you can drive to the top. Be sure to call the ranger station the night before or morning of to check road conditions as weather can close the road for the day in any season.

This area honestly has a lot more hiking trails than RMNP. Some great alpine lakes, peaks, etc. For a challenging class 1 hike look up Mount Audubon. For a more challenging class 3-4 “climb” look up Apache Peak.

Great easy hike, with views of downtown Denver, red rocks, and the mesas. You will sometimes spot elk, foxes and rarely there’s a small mountain lion who hangs out up here.

This is the easiest 14er in Colorado and a great introductory 14. Be sure to bring layers for warmth, rain, 3 liters of water and snacks.

Slightly longer “introductory” 14er. Has amazing views including old mines, streams, clouds etc. Better boots are recommended if you want to try Torreys right next to it as the class 2 finishing slope can be a little steep/slippery
