A long-time favorite for locals and visitors, White Memorial offers a nice look at the Litchfield Hills flora and fauna. Beautiful grounds, a nice museum, and two resident birds (owl and hawk) are worth an afternoon.

One of the most photographed waterfalls in Connecticut and New England, Kent Falls is best viewed in spring. However, the falls are spectacular throughout the year if you're brave enough to visit in the winter, it's worth the walk in the snow.
