Downtown Seattle borders Belltown and is where Pike Place market lives. The Pike Place area can be where a lot of homeless people hang out, so i suggest visiting during the day.

This is yet another neighborhood that borders Belltown. South Lake Union is where a lot of the Amazon buildings are, but also has a great park right on the water. It is also home to the MOHAI (Seattle Maritime Museum)

West Seattle is a lesser known neighborhood in Seattle, but is one of our favorites. “The junction” is a 3 block strip of bars and restaurants. It also has Alki beach, which is a famous Seattle beach and is beautiful in the summer.

If you are looking for a lively night life, this is the place to go. There is a great bar/restaurant around every corner. It is also home to volunteer park (pictured) which inspired the Soundgarden song "Black hole sun"
