Nice place to spend some hours in. Especially with children, it is quite nice. In addition to the many buildings and gardens of the castle, there are some animals. Best is to combine with a half day trip to Sozopol then.

Usually from beginning of July until end of August, the festival of sand sculptures is taking place, at the very end of the Sea Garden (lazur). A great experience for children but also for adults.

Flora is located in the Sea Garden, and has beautiful flower exhibition twice a year. Close to it, a nice café and garden designs/sculptures. Very cosy place to drink a coffee and/or fresh.

In the Sea Garden, there are a lot of playgrounds for children. In the season, the offer is even bigger as a quite big complex is open in the upper Sea Garden

Exchange rates at the Airport are way to high. Also, in very touristic places, you’ll pay higher commission fees or get an infavorable rate. Best is to exchange in the center town of burgas in well established places.
