Located just a few miles to the West of Inverallochy, these beautiful golden sandy beaches and costal dunes are a great place to walk, relax or enjoy a variety of exiting water sports. Enjoy a great selection of food from the Tiger Hill Café on the beach promenade.

Fraserburgh beach
South Harbour RoadFraserburgh and Waters of Philorth Beaches. Located just a few miles to the West of Inverallochy, these beautiful golden sandy beaches and costal dunes are a great place to walk, relax or enjoy a variety of exiting water sports. Enjoy a great selection of food from the Tiger Hill Café on the beach promenade.
A lovely pebble and rock pool beach about 20 min drive from Inverallochy. With lots of caves and rock pools, and coves to explore this is definitely worth a trip to visit

A great little bay tucked away at the foot of the imposing cliffs. With lots to explore and a great swimming location. This is a lovey little spot just round the corner from Pennan Bay.

Coastal Villages
Pennan and Crovie. (15 miles West of Inverallochy) These small quaint rugged villages sit on the North coast nestled at the foot of the imposing surrounding cliffs. Pick up some refreshments and lovely home bakes form the Coastal Cuppie located by the harbour in Pennan. Or if the weather is not so good enjoy a few refreshments in the Pennan Inn (01346 561201). The Village was made famous in the film Local Hero, where the original red phone box is still located on the main street.

Visit the costal town of Gardenstown, locally known as 'Gamrie'. The town is built onto the imposing hillside overlooking the small harbour and bay. While you're there why not take the short costal walk from the harbour around the base of the cliffs to the village of Crovie.

Kinnaird Head Lighthouse (Fraserburgh) is one of Scotland’s outstanding lighthouses. Tours can be arranged through the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses. There is also tearoom with superb views out over the rugged coastline.
