Boat Rentals: We recommend Cannons Marina based on the positive feedback of our many previous guests. They can be reached at (941) 383-1311. All you should need to bring are groceries; drinks; clothes; and anything else you like to have when you are relaxing and on vacation. Our tap water is potable and comes from an artesian well 400 feet underground so taste is fine but feel free to bring some large bottles of water if you are a water connoisseur. All linens are provided as well as cleaning supplies, detergent, hand soap and shampoo. We provide paper towels and napkins to start you off. There are plenty of spices, a fully stocked kitchen with a 42” Sub-Zero Refrigerator, pantry and extra capacity in Coolers for drinks.

We have a “Baby Trend Retreat Nursery Center” (Crib, Bassinet, changing board) at the house and lots of beach toys for children.

Please be sure to contact either Cannons Marina at 941-383-1311 or Bradenton Beach Marina at 941-778-2288 in advance of your stay to book your boat. You may leave a car at the marina but if flying in we recommend using Uber since most of your off site travel will be by boat to the nearby restaurants and marinas. For advance provisioning, please call us for options. Groceries can be delivered and there is also a Publix grocery store 2 miles from the Island and closer than that from the marina where you rent the boat.

There are two double kayaks, two stand up paddle boards and two kids kayaks to use. There are also lots of kids beach toys, balls and games under the house. IMPORTANT: Be careful not to leave anything on the beach after use or the rising tide may take them away. Please rinse all life jackets, paddles and water sports equipment and return them to where they were stored when you leave.

The kitchen is open to the main living area with a large island for meal preparation with family and friends. There is a 48” Sub Zero Refrigerator/Freezer with cold water and ice dispenser; 36” Wolf cooktop; KitchenAid double oven/ Microwave column and KitchenAid Heated Dishwasher. We condiments and most spices including salt and pepper and we have fully stocked cooking utensils pots and pans, Tupperware and several additional appliances that will rival any modern Chefs Kitchen. For grilling we provide a Webber Charcoal grill with a fire starter chimney.
