This is a beginner to intermediate mountain biking trail. It's very fun and beautiful. There is a big loop at the very top to extend your ride from the bench. Once you pass the silo (in photo), it does get more technical the rest of the way up. Visit Dave at the Redstone Cyclery for your bike needs!

For mountain biking, this is the harder, more technical start to the Hall Ranch Trail known as the "Rock Garden" to locals. Advanced Riders start here, if you're not advanced, head to the Antelope side which is off of Apple Valley Road. Hiking here is great. I recommend going on the "Hiker's Only" trail on weekends or evenings in summer to avoid lots of bike riders. Stop over at Redstone Cyclery to find out more info

Hall Ranch Open Space

Great Hiking and Fishing not too far outside of Lyons. You will walk on a dirt road for about 3/4 of a mile and then veer left onto the Sleepy Lyon trail for a great hike! More hiking at the Longmont Dam up top
