Tallest point in Arizona. Do NOT attempt if you are an inexperienced hiker or prone to altitude sickness. 10.7 miles, over 3,000 ft of elevation gain, and a summit at 12,633 feet. We don’t advise taking dogs on this one.
Another one of our favorites. 2.7 miles. Short, flat walk to a volcanic cinder cone featuring hoodoos. Dogs are allowed but there is a short ladder that they have to scale or be carried up.
