You won’t find a better restaurant in Venice than this spot along Abbot Kinney. Food goes a long way to making a successful first date, and especially if you go out with someone who’s into food culture, this would be a winner. The food and the wine lists are spectacular. Ask for a table in the outdoor courtyard. Order a pizza. And also. . .wine, wine, wine.

The Tasting Kitchen

Tasting Kitchen is a cool spot and the laid back vibe makes it great for sparking up conversation. I love taking meetings in unusual locales; getting out of the comfort zone helps all parties think and connect differently. The bacon and sausage waffles are a fresh take on one of my favorite dishes; the classic country plate is extremely well done. This place is really sought after, so book early and arrive early.

I love taking meetings in unusual locales; getting out of the comfort zone helps all parties think and connect differently.
