Take a walk here, 15min from home. there is a wonderful landscape of all Torino. Great at sunset. You can then walk to Gran Madre (the greek-like building) and drink something around there. Very nice.

Biggest open market in Italy
Every morning until lunchtime (later if warm season)
A bit chaotic but splendid.
Be careful of pickpocket.
If you are here during the 2nd Sunday of the month, there is a special market called Balon, I personally suggest to go there if possible.
