Beautiful sandy beach. The parking is reserved for Manchester residents in the summer. Take the train and then walk to the beach, which is only a mile from the station in Manchester.

My favorite walk in the area: the Atlantic Path. Look for the Public Foot Path sign off Cathedral Ave by the Emerson Inn for the access.

Kayak rentals and guided tours, nice store for water sports clothing, shoes, etc. I think also bike rentals, but not sure about it, as I have my own bike. They also sell good maps of the area.
