Well, it is a great restaurant, cafe and BEST bakery, only 5 min by car, with a ceramics studio (lessons for kids and adults are available), with great rice field views and a lovely vibe. Their coffee is simply amazing, and their sourdough bread is the best in town - ask for it for take away :-)
and taste the "baclava" - it is a danish roll with almond and pistacio, unbelivebly tasty

A 10-min pleasant walk from our villa and you reach one of the nicest vegan restaurants in the world, really. They also have a beautiful little Famer's Market every Saturday! Enjoy!

This is a Japanese - Indonesian fusion restaurant, owned and managed by a lovely Japanese family. Fantasic ambiance, great healthy food, cinema for kids every Friday night - that's a big one :-) The place is built out of sustainable materials and recycled wood. All profit goes to their foundation which supports outstanding local projects with tens of thousands of dollars, like Bumi Sehat clinic (10 min by car) of the world famous midwife Robin Lim.

Probably the best view you can have from a restaurant in Ubud. It is 5 min by car from us. Their fusion cuisine and extended cocktail menu might accompany the stunning sunset nicely - though you might have a more relaxing one with a slightly better sunset view from our own terrace :-)

The Sayan House
No. 70 Jl. Raya SayanProbably the best view you can have from a restaurant in Ubud. It is 5 min by car from us. Their fusion cuisine and extended cocktail menu might accompany the stunning sunset nicely - though you might have a more relaxing one with a slightly better sunset view from our own terrace :-)
This world famous restaurant is 10 min from us by car. First watch the Chef's Table episode on the chef on Netflix (it is in the Pastry Season of the series), then head over to enjoy the journey in person.

Jalan Baungit is 5 min on foot, a very original bamboo restaurant&hotel down at Ayung River with stone pools filled with spring water. there is a minimum spend and one needs to make a reservation - it is a fantastic hidden gem of Ubud, make sure to walk over and check it out. lot of steps down to the magical riverside venue.

Oh, just the best icecream in town - 5-7 min by car, dangerously close :-) Our favourites are chocolate-orange and passion fruit :-) Their biscotti is also fantastic to be brought home for coffee. Take-away is also possible.

On other days we ask a fantastic massage and manicure therapist to come to our villa. She is equally amazing, well-trained and our staff can help you to arrange the booking at a reasnable price.
