Where to eat (the rest of Paris)

Bouillons are fast and cheap restaurants that were once popular with the working classes during the Belle Époque. Classic French cuisine on a budget! I really recommend trying one. My favorite is Bouillon Julien 16 rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, 75010. + 33 (0) 1 47 70 12 06. Metro: Strasbourg-St Denis. Non-stop service 11:45 AM – midnight. Bookings accepted. (Don’t take reservations on the week-end) It’s amongst the most beautiful restaurants in the city, it’s a well-preserved example of the Art Nouveau style. Initially opened in 1906, the building is classified as a historical monument and was one of Edith Piaf’s favorite haunts.
