The Table Rock Lake region is in the heart of the Ozarks Mountains. While being the oldest mountains in North America, they have eroded to really big hills. However, when the wagons came, they couldn't go up and down the hills, so they built roads around the hills. They never got any better. So pay attention, slow down, and enjoy the view.

We are roughly 30 minutes from the gates of Silver Dollar City, a wonderful attraction this side of Branson, Missouri. Look for deals, it can be expensive. But they have many rides, events, and vendors that provide very unique wares and services.

While visiting Table Rock Lake, remember its a Corp of Engineers Lake. Meaning you can walk the banks of the lake from one end to the other, but the docks are private and should be respected. Many of the docks have cameras and the locals aren't shy about telling ya how it is. More importantly, watch out for wild life. Everything from ticks, chiggers, tarantulas, scorpions and snakes are crawling around this lake. We also have turkey, deer, feral hogs, mountain lions, and bears. Take a camera, that keeps most of them away!

There are a lot of great places to experience within driving distance to our place. Branson is 45 minutes away; Dogwood canyon is a beautiful Ozarks retreat; Top of the Rock has a wonderful tour; and the fishing is world class! Plan ahead, buy tickets online, book your guides, boats and trips online to save time and money!

Bring your medications, and you can get refills at walmart, or walgreens locally. Bring food, even if its just snacks. It can be a drive if you get a craving. Toiletries are a must. We don't know what your favorite tooth paste is, or what soap you like. We got the water, you bring the bubbles. Liquor stores are at least 20 minutes away, and the Sherriff loves giving out DUI and DWI tickets. So plan your good times ahead, and don't give them a reason to extend your stay!
