Lovely walk in a woodland with deer. Unfortunately you do have to pay if you are not a National Trust member. Good cafe and activities for the kids.
For Lunch you could go to the Mytton and Mermaid.

Poor old Wellington, just like so many towns it has seen better days. That said, head to the market on a Saturday and see some real hussle a bussel. A more rewarding experience then Tescos
