Canterbury is a 20 minute drive from our home or a 45 minute ride on the bus. The Cathedral is a must but it can be pricey to get in. Canterbury's cobbled streets are a joy to walk around & admire the buildings or to go from shop to shop for your shopping delights. Canterbury has a very wide range of eating establishments for every bodies palette.

Cliffsend Nature Reserve on the shore front is a haven for birds and wildlife which includes Highland cattle at times. It has it's own "hide" with the "Dog Walkers" cafe close by.
