Nice park to stroll, jog, lay around in the sun. 't Blauwe Theehuis is a nice bar. Keep an eye out for the parrots - they escaped from the zoo and have built their colony in the park!

walk straight through this monumental building and exit to the terrace at the back - it has great seats right on the canal, looking out of the water. Very nice and quiet spot, also great for lunch!

Best kept secret cocktail bar! Just knock on the door at nr 74, Reguliersdwarsstraat (there is no sign), and you will enter this cocktail bar that serves the best cocktails in town. Not cheap!
