Spectacular day trip! Whistler is a town north of Vancouver (2 hour drive), that's home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Besides skiing and snowboarding, the area offers snowshoeing, tobogganing and ski jumping at the Olympic Park. Beautiful lakes, golfing, biking, shopping and fantastic restaurants. The hub of Whistler is a compact, chalet-style pedestrian village at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.

Double dare you! If you like a challenge and enjoy the reward, grind it up the Grouse Grind. Hike up, check out sites and gondola it down. You might even see a Vancouver Canuck on your way up as part their training!
