Stunning views of the Bay of Fundy, this place is literally right in the middle of it, with a huge outdoor deck as well. Super romantic spot.. and also great for families. Near the town of Wolfville, a sweet place to walk around, and close to the Cape Split Hike (to nourish you after you finish!)

A great hike (the beginning is the hardest part - push through!) for any age.. takes about 3 hours from start to finish.. though add an hour or so for a picnic at the amazing trail head.. right in the middle of the Bay of Fundy (the word's highest and fastest tides). The sign at the entrance says 4 -5 hours, but I've done it many times with several different people, and it's always only 3. Do yourself a favor and DON'T google it... just enjoy the views when you get there!
It's a beautiful drive about an hour and a half from the house. Well worth it, make a day trip! Go to the Port Pub after for dinner and spectacular Bay of Fundy Views.

When the tide is high there is not much beach, but as it lowers it becomes huge, and is packed in the summer! Great spot. Free parking, park anywhere except for fire zones... they don't actually ticket in the no parking spots!

Most everything is a left at the fork in the road. You'll find fabulous boutiques here with everything from beautiful yarns, home decor, foods & baked goods, local arts & crafts.. each place has very unique items. You could always enjoy a meal while in town as well, there are a lot of great options.
