Parks & Nature
Hanalei Bay is one of our favorite places to hand out. We're there almost every day for at least a few hours. Great beach to walk, usually good surfing for beginners or experienced surfers, stand-up paddle. Don't go there to snorkel!

Nice, moderate trail through some beautiful areas. Lovely little valley and waterfall along the way!

Haena Beach
Another one of our favorite beaches. Tunnels beach is great for snorkeling.
Not a great walking beach but the snorkeling is great. Tends to be windier than Hanalei or Haena.

Free to wander through the gardens. There are tours for a fee. The sunset dinner tour was wonderful!

You can stop by for a short time or stay all morning. Wear clothes that can get wet and a little dirty. Long hair must be tied back. It's one of my favorite activities!
