A fun activity is to take the tram (aka big egg thing) up to Oregon Health & Science University. Great views of the city once you are at the top, plus there is plenty to do on the South Waterfront. Costs about $5/person

Stroll along the Willamette River with beautiful views of downtown Portland and the Sellwood Bridge. Oaks Park Amusement Park is right nearby, if you want to go roller skating, ride a roller coaster, or have some popcorn!
