A short walk from the apartment. Go early on the weekends to get one of their croissant muffins. There will be a line. You can find out the flavor of the day on their Instagram account. This is where you can get a photo of the "I got baked in San Francisco" neon sign.

There's a line to get in, but you can alway walk up to the cash register and grab an order to go. They're known for their crab and oysters. Lafayette park isn't far if you want to have a picnic.

One of my favorite sites. The Palace of Fine Arts beautiful and a great place to have a picnic. You can walk from here to Crissy Fields towards the Golden Gate Bridge.

This is my favorite view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's a lot less crowded than the visitor center near the bridge. There are a number of stairs, but it's a short walk otherwise.

Huntington Park is more of a square. It's a short, but steep walk from the apartment. If you go here you'll see Grace Cathedral and some of the most impressive hotels in the city.
