Railway stations are not really close by, so a car would be the best option.
The only option to get a direct bus connection (#522) to Vreeland. It will leave you with a 2 kilometer walk ahead, so having a car or bike might be more convenient.

If you're a tourist you will probably feel you can't leave NL without having seen "De Wallen" which is the local name for 'the red light district'. Even though there is lots to say about whether the phenomenon is a good or bad thing from a humane point of view, it is one of the many symbols for the liberal culture of Amsterdam.
