Geraldine's has fantastic breakfasts. I love their French Toast and the Havarti/Corn scramble. Yum Yum Yum. Go early as there is usually a line out the door after 9:00 am.

Alki is the best place to go for a long walk. It's great for people watching, camp fire on the beach, playing volleyball, and possibly getting a view of an Orca pod in the Puget Sound. There are many restaurants and several coffee shops. It's a great place to enjoy a warm day sitting on a bench eating an ice cream cone.

Discovery Park is huge! Get lost hiking one of the many trails. Visit the light house. Take a picnic and enjoy the beach. There are so many places to explore and discover at Discovery Park.

The Sculpture Park is amazing. Walk the path through the park to see the many different sculptures. It's like an outdoor museum. The park connects to Myrtle Edwards park where you can take a long walk on the waterfront path. If you keep going, the path will take you to Discovery Park. Its a great place for a bike ride.

This is about an hour drive from Seattle but well worth it if you like easy trails, big ferns, beautiful pines and cedars. There are lots of picnic spots. Federation is one of my favorite places to spend the day. Take a great picnic and enjoy the outdoors.
