Free entrance to the Fortifications of Cartagena de Indias Free 1 person From sunday. 28th of April 2019 to sunday 24th of November. de 2019 8 am to 5 pm On Sunday, March 31, Cartagena and Colombians will enjoy their fortified heritage completely free, as every last Sunday of the month, except for January and December. You can enjoy the Castillo San Felipe de Barajas and the fortifications of Bocachica without paying a ticket. The program "Sunday of Free Entry to Fortifications" seeks incentives for local and national media for Cultural Interest Assets (BIC) at the national level, reinforcing the ownership and sense of belonging for the heritage. The day is organized by the Escuela Taller de Cartagena de Indias (ETCAR) and the Ministry of Culture with support from the Mayor of Cartagena de Indias. From 8 am to 5 pm the Castillo San Felipe de Barajas and the forts of the village of Bocachica are available to be visited.
