Hiking Trails

There are several entrances to the Appalachian Trail, Lake Chatuge Recreation area hiking trails, Nantahala National Park/Jackrabbit Mtn hiking, fishing & beach, and others within a few minutes drive.

Harrah's Casinos

There are two casinos nearby: Harrah's in Cherokee is about an hour and a half drive. Harrah's in Murphy, NC is only 24 miles away. Cherokee has gourmet dining. Murphy has food court.
Fun casino with all the machines and tables you could want. No poker room though. Food Court dining.
