There's a saying in Napa that it takes a lot of great beer to make good wine :) And this is fantastic local brewery from the owners of Oenotri! Their beers are excellent (seriously) and it's a cool, fun spot to enjoy a nice, cold, refreshing glass of something besides wine!

Food Scene
Southern Italian food and simply amazing. The menu changes so frequently I can't specifically recommend a single dish, but I encourage you to ask your server what's great that evening and run with their suggestions. This is hands down the best, most authentic Italian food I've ever had. Also, it's less than a mile from the house!

This is hands down the best, most authentic Italian food I've ever had. Also, it's less than a mile from the house!
Avant Garde Japanese cuisine - so much more than just sushi (although it's great here too!). Try the king crab legs, toro tartare, duck meatball soup, sticky ribs, shrimp tempura, or if you feel like going BIG, the Wagyu beef is the real deal.

A modern take on country french in a beautiful setting right on the river downtown. The owner's father started the famed Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford (about 25 minutes north) so there are a lot of similarities without all the travel time!

Delicious BBQ - Napa style! This place is a gem, and about as authentic Napa as you can get. Get there early as the wait can be somewhat long. I highly recommend sharing the BBQ Platter with a few people, and the Beer Can chicken is great too. They also have an incredible selection of wine and for those wanting to test their sommelier skills, try the "Brown Bag Special". It's a glass of wine for $5 and if you can correctly guess the varietal and country of origin, it's free! At that price, even if you don't guess it right, you still win ;)
