Lovely walk around the lake which has many birds nesting. Swans also raise their young here. There is a lookout but firstly you have to navigate your way up the 92 steps. Fantastic lookout if you walk further west.

Fremantle is WA's old port town. Tourists visit the old Round House, the now closed and historic Fremantle Prison and the Fremantle Art Centre which is housed in the old women's asylum. During summer there are free live concerts every Sunday. Very family friendly. Fremantle boasts its prisons
