What differentiates this from B5 is that this place has Latin music nights, but it´s the same kind of dance club scene for the young and not particularly wise. Watch out for people who come out of these places at 4 am, it´s quite entertaining!

Every path leads to a new mystery, and sometimes more questions than answers! Definitely off the tourist track, and something you´ll never forget.

This is the iconic lighthouse, where you´ll find the best sunsets in Reykjavik. Walk around the pathways and find a nature reserve filled with exotic birds of all feathers, and a peaceful place to relax. Very romantic spot, also great for sunset photos.

This is my favorite hiking trail in the Reykjavik broader area, where you´ll find an off-the-beaten track and very secluded nature scene out of your own personal fairy tale. Respect the waterfall of Helgufoss, and the giant elfstone, as this is one of the secret places of the mysterious Huldufolk of Iceland.

This is a little geothermal pool or foot-bath right on the ocean, where you will catch a nice little spot to warm up to your knees while watching the best view of the peninsula. Keep it a secret, and to yourself, as it should be respected as a local spot, not for tourists. ;)

This is another gem, far from the tourist guide and known only really to locals. You might be fooled into thinking this is just a nice little waterfall where you can stop by and eat a pleasant lunch by the road, and that would be it. This is a really awesome and surprisingly accessible hiking trail, leading to multiple waterfalls and gorgeous sights farther upstream, once you know about it. Go on the right of the waterfall, and follow the big builders which lead behind and up. You´ll see the trail once you have gotten above the waterfall. If you´re alone during this entire trek, which is very likely, keep it to yourself, and don´t tell other tourists. Let´s keep these hidden gems, hidden.
