Great for either lunch or dinner! The French Onion Soup is wonderful. My personal favorite is the Chicken Cordon Bleu or the Flat Iron Steak. During the busy season I would recommend making reservations.

Miriam, the owner and family friend, runs a wonderful restaurant. The Steak Diane is perfect every time I order it (and we're talking many times)!!! The ambiance is as great as the hospitality and local art work covers the walls. Lastly, they make a mean Moscow Mule!!

1850 is a great spot for both lunch and dinner! Hannah and Jake (owners) provide an excellent eating experience, their menu is diverse with a little local flavor when ordering the Indian Fry bread or Fresh Trout as well as their beer selections (which are brewed by Jake at their local brewery). The fried chicken is a must!!!

Hannah and Jake (owners) provide an excellent eating experience, their menu is diverse with a little local flavor when ordering the Indian Fry bread or Fresh Trout as well as their beer selections (which are brewed by Jake at their local brewery). The fried chicken is a must!!!
Castillo's serves authentic Mexican food that is hard to beat! Holly (owner) runs a nice clean restaurant and my husband has a soft spot (no pun intended!) for the Chicken Chimichanga. If you are like me, the chips and salsa tell the true tale of a good Mexican food restaurant and these won't disappoint!

The cafe offers many vegetarian and vegan items. If you are lucky enough to visit them on a day they are serving their Black Bean Enchiladas as a special, consider yourself lucky enough!
A hometown favorite and great supporter of our local schools, Pizza Factory always serves the best pizza around. The "Big R" special is a local favorite, accompany it with a pitcher of cold soda/beer as you watch the game on the well placed t.v.s. and you have yourself a perfect night!

Wonderful homemade pies (the Razzleberry is simply the best!!! ) along with many other baked goodies. Naomi (owner and sweetest lady in Mariposa) will also provide a packed lunch for a nice picnic along the Merced River or Yosemite Valley.
