Located in the center of cascais, the Village Market has a daily market on Wednesday and Saturday where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, fresh fish, etc. but beside the market you can also find a space with a nice variation of restaurants (sushi, seafood, typical Portuguese food, Italian...among others).

“Boca do Inferno” (portuguese for “Hell´s Mouth”) is one of Cascais' landmarks, a unique rock formation on the edge of the ocean. Currently Boca do Inferno is an open cavity, with a sort of arch where it enters the sea water. In days of rough waters it is possible to hear the sound of water hitting the rocks, such a unique sound that makes an analogy to the location´s name. Arriving at Boca do Inferno is possible to contemplate the beauty of the place from the top, however there is also a path that leads to the other side of the “arc” of the cavity, where the water enters. This site is already very close to the water and then you can enjoy the view across the rocky coast.

This is a lovely park with nice shaded walks opposite the Marina in Cascais, with duck/turtle ponds. Ideal for picnics or bringing children to feed the ducks. It has a large children's play area and there are chickens, peacocks,cocks and ducks wandering freely about. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a lovely park with nice shaded walks opposite the Marina in Cascais, with duck/turtle ponds. Ideal for picnics or bringing children to feed the ducks. It has a large children's play area and there are chickens, peacocks,cocks and ducks wandering freely about. Definitely worth a visit!
