Paso Robles Restaurants

Downtown Paso Robles has an amazing culinary scene. Many new restaurants have opened within the last five years and you can find everything from incredible Mexican food to Michelin starred chefs. Below are a few of Kristy and my favorites!
Fantastic food influenced by Spanish and South American cuisine. Amazing cocktails including many local spirits and ingredients. Reservations are highly recommended for weekend evenings.

Classic Italian cuisine in an intimate setting. When the weather permits, outdoor seating is a fantastic choice. Good cocktails and a great international and local wine list.

An Irish pub with elevated pub dishes ... one not to miss is "MA! The Meatloaf!" and an incredible Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque. Also, this is one of the few late night kitchens and typically music and dancing on weekends through the high season in Paso.

Court of Master Sommeliers, Advanced Sommelier Ian Adamo creates wine and food pairings on a Prix Fixe menu typically starting with Champagne and taking you through both local and international wines. It's an experience unlike any other in Paso Robles and highly recommended if you're looking for an experience as opposed to just a meal.

Peruvian inspired dishes that span South American and Japanese influences. A great location outside of downtown to enjoy a romantic meal. Bring a bottle from your days tasting and ask for the free corkage for local wines!

A busy little sushi joint just off the downtown square. Ask to sit at the bar and be nice to the sushi chef, a lot of times you'll be rewarded with a little bite that one of the chefs caught that morning before work that you won't find on the menu and won't get if you're sitting at a table.

A Mexican inspired seafood centric Tequilaria in downtown Paso. Reservations not accepted for fewer than 6 people, but stop in, leave your number and they'll text you when your table is ready. In the meantime you can pop into a tasting room for a glass of wine, or explore some of the great shops downtown.

A cool little spot off an alley between Park and Pine street in Paso. You'll feel like you're in the wrong place walking down the alley behind all the other shops and restaurants until you see the beautifully lit courtyard with firepits and cafe lights. Local bands play here on weekend nights and you order at the bar for food to be delivered at the table. Chef Jeff has won numerous local awards for his BBQ and Mac & Cheese dishes.
