Downtown Paso Robles has an amazing culinary scene. Many new restaurants have opened within the last five years and you can find everything from incredible Mexican food to Michelin starred chefs. Below are a few of Kristy and my favorites!

An Irish pub with elevated pub dishes ... one not to miss is "MA! The Meatloaf!" and an incredible Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque. Also, this is one of the few late night kitchens and typically music and dancing on weekends through the high season in Paso.

A busy little sushi joint just off the downtown square. Ask to sit at the bar and be nice to the sushi chef, a lot of times you'll be rewarded with a little bite that one of the chefs caught that morning before work that you won't find on the menu and won't get if you're sitting at a table.

Local bands play here on weekend nights and you order at the bar for food to be delivered at the table. Chef Jeff has won numerous local awards for his BBQ and Mac & Cheese dishes.
