Beaches
This is a great public beach on Lake Michigan. The United States “Third Coast.” You do have to pay but you park right on the beach so it is super convenient. Also there is usually not a lot of traffic so you can get in and out easily.

Another amazing beach. This one is also close to the Benton Harbor Bungalow. You have to pay, but you get access to St Joseph’s picturesque North Pier with its two light houses. Tours of the light house are available.

Silver Beach is beautiful. It’s very popular being listed as on of the United States too 10 beaches. With popularity comes traffic. Be sure to show up early and pack for the day. The Whirlpool Compass Fountain, the Silver Beach Carousel, and Silver Beach Pizza are all right there at the bottom of the bluff.

The Livery is Berrien County’s oldest brewery being around since 2002. The outside area is pet friendly so feel free to bring your pups. Also the main bar doubles as a music venue and Brandon brings in some diverse and amazing acts from around the planet. They have amazing pizza and my wife loves the TBA sandwich. If your an IPA fan enjoy a McGilligans, a dynamite American IPA.

This is one of my favorite pizza joints in the area. They serve 80’s style Sicilian American pizza cut into rectangular pieces. I love there pizza. My father-in-law used to prefer Silver Beach Pizza but now wants nothing but DiMaggio’s when he comes to visit. The had a fire in 2019 so the new decor is fresh but the pizza is most definitely classic.
