Long Point

Step off the property and see Long Point on foot! There are kilometres of stunning beach to explore or just walking along quiet Woodstock Ave is a treat, too.

Port Rowan is the closest town to Long Point, just a short 10 minute drive from the cottage. Take in the harbour with a walk down to the boathouses and lighthouse. Order takeout from a local restaurant and enjoy it picnic style by the water. Our favourite restaurants are Chef Stan’s and the Country Fork, and don’t forget ice cream from Twin’s Ice Cream Parlour.

PORT DOVER

Head to Port Dover for a lovely day trip from the cottage. Have lunch on the Erie Beach Hotel’s new patio, grab a soft serve ice cream from The Arbor after you play mini-golf at the Arbortown. Take a walk down to Port Dover’s lighthouse and check out the shops on your way. You’ll be happy to return to the quiet of Long Point after a busy day “on the town”!
