In spring time 600 glorious Yoshino cherry trees bloom across a 4km area. Allows you to fully enjoy the nature of the Okubiwako region throughout the year. I recommend to visit here at early morning, because It'll be super crowded in spring time.

見頃は9月下旬～10月初旬。
A colony of Amaryllidaceae that continues along Lake Biwa.

It is said that successive emperors and Kobo Daishi also visited the island, and there are abundant cultural assets such as the Senju Senju Kanzeon Bosatsu statue and the Karamon relocated by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is also famous for being on the ley line where Izumo Taisha, Moto Ise, and Mt. Fuji are lined up.
