Gamla Stan (The Old Town) is the oldest part of Stockholm where you can walk in the small streets and find plenty of old architecture, restaurants ,bars and shops as well as the royal castle.

Gamla Stan (The Old Town) is the oldest part of Stockholm where you can walk in the small streets and find plenty of old architecture, restaurants ,bars and shops as well as the royal castle.
The beautiful island Djurgården is located about 25 minutes away by foot. Here you will find a lot of nature, cafes, restaurants, parks and museums such as Skansen, Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund and Rosendals Trädgård. Would recommend Djurgården for a sunny day that will be spent outside. During Christmas time Skansen is a lovely place with a lot of things to see.

The beautiful island Djurgården is located about 25 minutes away by foot. Here you will find a lot of nature, cafes, restaurants, parks and museums such as Skansen, Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund and Rosendals Trädgård. Would recommend Djurgården for a sunny day that will be spent outside. During Christmas time Skansen is a lovely place with a lot of things to see.
At the Vasa Museum you will find the old ship that was built for the Swedish king Gustav Vasa. It only made it about 2 kilometers/1 mile on water before it sank. 333 years later it was found and was towed to this museum. There is also a restaurant.
