Idyllwild has some wonderful restaurants. Many of them are dog friendly, many have music but we suggest you call ahead. Hosting out of town guests is how many businesses thrive in Idyllwild. Try them out! One note I offer is to be patient, service in the mountains is slower and relaxed on purpose. Don't go h'angry. Plan ahead. Enjoy the atmosphere!

The only all vegan restaurant in Idyllwild. And the food is AMAZING. Lovely patio setting, very pet friendly and they almost always have music. One of the healthiest menus in Idyllwild if you are looking for healthy food. The turmeric latte is delicious too and the chocolate cake is to die for.

Tiny, I mean tiny, vintage candy and ice cream bar shop. Personally I wouldn't leave Idyllwild without having an old fashioned dipped cream bar. Seriously good, well priced. Its the specialty.
