Every time I am in Baleal I make sure to come here for some pasta.
Since the first time I've gone there that I have always ordered the Penne with Shrimps and Spicy Tomato Sauce - it's one of those dishes that once you have it you can't order anything else.

Tasca do Joel is one, if not THE BEST restaurant in Peniche.
The food is exceptional, the setting is super nice and the price is quite reasonable given the gastronomic experience.
My favourite dish here is the Braised Seabass and Mussel Rice (I've translated this from the Portuguese name, so it might be a bit different on the menu).

The food is exceptional, the setting is super nice and the price is quite reasonable given the gastronomic experience.
My favourite dish here is the Braised Seabass and Mussel Rice (I've translated this from the Portuguese name, so it might be a bit different on the menu).
This is the place to go if you want an enriched sunset experience.
Here, you'll not only feed your stomach, but your eyes and soul will be amazed by the breathtaking sunset view.

For all meat lovers out there, this a place where you'll find top-quality beef cooked to perfection.
The waiters are super friendly and the setting is super cosy.
It also has vegetarian options.

A super nice place for you to have dinner with friends. This is a small restaurant in Baleal Island that serves really nice food.
When I go there I usually only order their 'petiscos', they are all good.

Easier to get around in wheeled transportation.
In Peniche it's best if you have some sort of wheeled transportation, everything is pretty close by, but you'll enjoy yourself more if you have a bike, motorbike or car.
