A really good place to take a few minutes to relax. You could take pictures for social media or even throw a picnic. Across from my favourite fish and chips restaurant. Trinity Bellwoods is definitely one of the hippest neighbourhoods in Toronto. It combines the best of Queen West and Dundas West… but have you seen the park?? If not, go! Right now. You’ll catch all of the coolest people in town lounging in the grass, and once you leave its sunny slopes there’s so much to do in the area too. Ossington Avenue is Toronto’s hub for wining and dining, while Queen Street’s got some amazing shops. This park is like the city's backyard all summer long. There is sun and shade, bike paths, tennis, baseball, skating, an off-leash dog park, and plenty of space to picnic. On hot days you will see hundreds of locals enjoying the fresh air, drinking, eating, drumming, slack-lining, and heaven knows what else. The place is full of life.

The Drake Hotel is a hotel where guests can stay at. It has a eatery place to enjoy fresh food and a cafe. I held my birthday celebration here. There's the Drake Underground where local artists perform. Close to a Metro and Freshco grocery market. The Drake Hotel is Toronto’s multi-level, multi-purpose rock and roll boutique hotel, and self-proclaimed “hotbed for culture.” The place has been around in one form or another since 1890, but in 2004 after three long years of rehauling that began in 2001, was resurrected as what it is today, a restaurant, bar, and venue with a rooftop patio and one of the best restaurant burgers in the city. Historic elements like the grand staircase in the front lobby are incorporated with an industrial yet kitschy feel throughout the hotel, created by the in-house team in collaboration with 3rd Uncle Design. The Drake Hotel is a hospitality venue on Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Canada near Parkdale. In addition to a nineteen-room boutique hotel, there is a restaurant lounge, corner café with street-level patio, Sky Yard roof top patio, and the Drake Underground basement nightclub and live performance venue. The Drake is similar to other small concert venues in Toronto such as The Silver Dollar Room, Clinton's Tavern, Lee's Palace, and the Horseshoe Tavern. The Drake Underground primarily features indie acts, though past noted performers include M.I.A. and Beck.

The Carlton Cinema is a cinema in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1981, the cinema was the first multiplex in Toronto to focus on art-house content. It ran continuously for 28 years before being closed in 2009 by Cineplex Odeon. In 2010, it was re-opened under new management, Rainbow and Magic Lantern Theatres, who ran the cinema until 2016, when it was acquired by Imagine Cinemas. The cinema is well known in Toronto for playing foreign, arthouse and independent films that are often ignored by larger chain theatres. I have watched a quite a few movies at this cinema. It's an enjoyable experience. The popcorn is great. It's not that busy so you mostly get the theater to yourself.

Neighbourhoods

Toronto's Entertainment District is a downtown area where you'll find some of the city's best bars and restaurants, major theatre productions and great hotels. Redevelopment began in the former industrial area in the in the 1980s, and growth continues today thanks to an influx of hip condos and lofts. This neighbourhood has fun for everyone! The Royal Alexandra Theatre's 1962 refurbishment sparked the growth of what is today a lively theatre district along King Street West, where productions such as Mamma Mia! and The Lion King have played. Or visit the Toronto International Film Festival's permanent home, the TIFF Bell Lightbox, for year-round screenings of great movies, old and new. Sports fans can get their fix at the nearby Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre. Thousands descend on the Entertainment District nightly for its nightlife and live performances, and leading Toronto chefs are taking advantage of that. Dining options abound for picky eaters and gourmands, quick pre-theatre bites or all-night meals. Brassaii is popular for brunch, dinner or cocktails. Le Select Bistro has drawn fans of classic French fare for more than 30 years. And Lee presents diners with chef Susur Lee's menu of Asian with modern twists.
