San Marcos is a suburb in North County San Diego, approximately 12 miles from the ocean, 35 minutes from downtown San Diego and the Airport. San Marcos is a city with an abundance of beautifully planned parks such as Jack's Pond and Woodland Park. It is also central to the many wedding venues in the area such as Green Gables Wedding Estates, Twin Oaks House, and Twin Oaks Golf Course. There are also many family friendly breweries and gastropubs to explore and taste many of the fine crafted beers that are world renowned. Wineries in nearby Temecula (30 minutes drive) and even closer Orfila Winery in nearby Escondido are settings that will remind you of Italy itself. There are local malls as well as Premium Outlets with ample shopping all within 10 to 25 minute drives in either direction.

This place is great for the whole family or a fun date! There are games in the yard for all ages, scheduled movie screenings on the lawn as well as a full bowling alley. Great food and drinks are just the beginning.

This is a 10 minute drive from our place in San Marcos. Worth the short drive to get your bearings as you will view the area from the highest peak. Ocean and mountain views . There is a small park at the top for children to play.
