Inaugurated in 1990, this interesting marine zoo is one of the most visited spots by locals and tourists in Santo Domingo.
In the center of the construction you can walk through a Plexiglass tunnel that goes all along the interior of the huge pools, thus being possible to admire the marine fauna above and next to you.
The facilities have 90 fresh and salty water fish tanks with seven ponds where all kinds of Tropical fishes can be seen: Carey huge turtles, sharks, sea-horses, parrotfishes, trumpet fishes and many more.

This is a big and nice park located in Santo Domingo Este, great for sports and families. It's huge and has a lot of options both for regular visitors and for athletes: Tennis and Soccer fields, basketball, volleyball and halterofilia courts, archery ranges, bicycle lanes, children's parks, picnic areas, and many other open and close spaces. Overall it's a very good and useful green area in the city. Be advised it's Gated and opens from 6am to 6pm every day.
You can rent bikes, but you most come with your own basket ball, volley ball or tennis rackets to play.

This is a big and nice park located in Santo Domingo Este, great for sports and families. It's huge and has a lot of options both for regular visitors and for athletes: Tennis and Soccer fields, basketball, volleyball and halterofilia courts, archery ranges, bicycle lanes, children's parks, picnic areas, and many other open and close spaces. Overall it's a very good and useful green area in the city. Be advised it's Gated and opens from 6am to 6pm every day.
